Catherine aka Katy Ehrlich was inspired by her multilingual grandmother to learn languages as a passport to the world. Trained in Asian languages (University of Michigan) and diplomacy (Johns Hopkins University SAIS), she taught at Tunghai University and interned at the National Council for US-China Trade before working in New York, Hong Kong, Seattle, and Portland in public relations, speechwriting, and marketing. She spends half the year in the Bay Area and half in Portland, Oregon.
